Scamlink Official :: Scamlink Ambassador Program: A Guide to Getting Involved in the Scamlink Project
November 16, 2021The Scamlink community is at the center of all our developments and growth. And as a part of our vision to let the community lead the direction, we announced the Scamlink Ambassador program.
We’re thrilled to share that we have received hundreds of applications from community members and the wider Tezos community to become Scamlink ambassadors. While we go through these prospects, we’d like to share more insights into our Ambassador program.
Scamlink Ambassadors: Journey, Roles, Guidelines
Scamlink Ambassador Journey
Scamlink Ambassador program starts with filling the application for becoming a Scamlink ambassador. Our team reviews individual applications to ensure the right fit for our community.After the initial review, we’ll send a small test to every ambassador to understand their awareness of the topic and potential contributions to our project.The final selection process takes into account the test results, experience, and skill set of the ambassador.
Candidates
As a Scamlink ambassador, we’ll onboard you as a candidate and provide detailed guidelines to start your journey within the program. Your primary role as a candidate is to start contributing as per your categories.
You’ll be a part of the Scamlink ambassadors group on Telegram where you’ll get to meet other candidates, regional ambassadors, and global ambassadors. You can always reach out to your regional ambassadors with your questions or resource requirements.
Regional and Global Ambassadors
Our regional ambassadors will be responsible for managing candidates and new ambassadors within their region, helping review their work, providing necessary support, and creating awareness about Scamlink in their country/region.
Scamlink global ambassadors are selected carefully, depending on the performance, engagement, and role played by an ambassador towards developing the community. Some examples include Scamlink Global Ambassador ‘Partnerships,’ ‘Community,’ and ‘Events.’
Scamlink Ambassador Roles
Developers
Scamlink is working with developers across the globe. If you are a developer looking to get involved, there are unlimited options for you to get started! Developers will be contributing to our main Scamlink Github repositories, participating in educational programs which will soon be available, or participating in one of our Smakathons.
Event Hosts/Advocates
The primary role of ambassadors under the event host and advocate pool is to organize local, virtual, and global meet-ups for Scamlink. It’ll include our existing community members, new community members, and wider crypto investors.
The themes for these meetups can vary from Scamlink’s vision, ecosystem, products, and growth to the governance process and much more. Our team will support the ambassadors with the required information, material, and setup/organizing expenses.
Creators (Writer, Video producer, graphic designer)
Creators are the life-blood of any project and Scamlink is no different. Our ambassadors coming onboard as content creators, including writers, video creators/producers, graphic designers will engage in creating promotional, educational content around Scamlink. We’ll share the most relevant categories for creating content every month and provide required resources, information to our ambassadors.
Scamlink Ambassador Guidelines
Content should promote Scamlink’s vision, ecosystem, products, and community. Make sure to limit third-party references across your content.Always crosscheck the information shared in your content with the Scamlink team through the Ambassadors’ Telegram group.When reaching out to a potential partner or prospect, kindly confirm the same with the team first. It is quite likely that we have already similar arrangements in place.Never misguide community members with dubious, false information or content.Kindly be respectful to all community members, other ambassadors, and the Scamlink team throughout your interactions and content creation/posting process.Make sure to not engage in spamming or unorthodox, prohibitory promotional activities. Doing so will lead to an immediate suspension from the program.
